This painting was inspired by aged sheet music from my old flute playing days. The Italian musical phrase a tempo di menuetto is an indication to play with the style and “tempo of a minuet”: slow, graceful, and often in 3/4 or 6/8 time.
Exhibited as part of the Las Laguna Art Gallery Small Works - Big Talent Online Group Exhibition, January 7, 2021 - January 30, 2021.
This piece is unframed but is wired for hanging.
