PAINTING SUBSTRATES
I either work on paper for my Littles, or panels for my larger paintings. Although some oil and cold wax artists work on canvas rigid supports limit movement of the paint layers and will help prevent cracking.

I have tried a few different brands of oil paint. I have found that I enjoy working with Gamblin oils the most and they are primarily all I use. I have only ever worked with Gamblin Cold Wax. When you're working with the best there's no need to try anything else.
